Donations
Monetary donations are a huge help to any rehoming service. All money donated goes towards the health and wellbeing of all animals surrendered to us. This includes food, medical care and everyday expenses. If you wish to directly donate to our organisation, our bank details are below:

Purchase Donated Artwork
Lamai Anne, a Melbourne Based artist has kindly donated multiple pieces of artwork to raise funds for the BRS Inc. If you’re interested in purchasing some of this artwork please click on Lamai’s logo through to see all available pieces.
Housing and Enrichment
We accept and appreciate donations of cages and toys which are made using safe materials and are in good condition (no galvanised metals please). If you have a spare cage, stand or toys that you wish to donate, please contact us via email volunteer@birdboarding.com.au to arrange drop off or pick up. Cage and aviary donations are often utilised by our team of foster carers to house surrendered birds in transit. Surplus cages may be sold as used through the Bird Boarding shop front to raise money for health examinations for stray birds. Donated toys are sanitised and used as enrichment for displaced parrots; acrylic and stainless steel items can often be cleaned and rotated to brighten up the day of many parrots. Bird stands can be useful for our volunteers to make a start or refresh basic training.
Become a foster carer
Bird Re-homing Services Inc. endeavours to find a home for each bird that suits both the individual bird and the new caregiver. The process of re-homing a surrendered bird can be time intensive. Foster carers, who provide temporary housing and care, are currently required and form an integral part of this process. BRS Inc. can provide the housing, a species specific formulated diet (pellets), enrichment (toys) and support in behaviour modification if you can provide the love.

We are a not-for-profit incorporation run by volunteers and we therefore appreciate your patience in waiting for our reply, you should expect contact from us within 7 days from receipt of your application.
Purchase a toy
BRS Inc. sells a range of hand-made, non-toxic toys for birds of all sizes. These toys are sold exclusively through the Bird Boarding Services and Supplies shopfront, located at 3 Allenby Street, North Coburg, Victoria.
If you own a business
If you own a business we also accept donations of goods and services to be auctioned off at Bird Re-homing Services Inc. fundraising events. If your business wishes to donate to us, please send an enquiry to volunteer@birdboarding.com.au. Businesses wishing to make significant contributions or regular monetary donations will be mentioned on our sponsors page. While BRS Inc. is not currently able to offer tax-deductable receipts, we can expose your business to our bird-loving following as an active member of the community, and suggest that they support your services. Web traffic reports can be made available upon request.
Gift cards
We sell a range of gift cards for the animal lover that has everything. With your help, Bird Re-homing Services Inc. (BRS Inc.) can provide pathogen testing, enrichment and proper nutrition for the birds in our care. There are five beautiful gift cards to choose from with differing messages, each of which detail specifically how your gift is used.
